The Georgia Bulldogs are in the College Football Playoff and have a chance to finish off the 2017 season with a national title.

However, when the 2018 season kicks off, the Bulldogs should also be in position to be a top team, even with all the talented seniors and underclassmen they’re sure to lose this offseason.

The Dawgs could receive a big boost heading into 2018, though, as star DT Trenton Thompson seemed to indicate on his Instagram page on Friday night that he’d be coming back to Athens for his senior season:

Thompson has been a bit limited this year after missing most of spring practice. In 11 games, he has 33 tackles (three for a loss) and zero sacks.

He’d likely still draw some interest from the NFL even after a quiet junior year, but coming back for a senior season will only help Thompson improve his draft stock.
