Shutout? Georgia fans upset over poor first-half offense against Kentucky

Georgia’s offense got off to another slow start against Kentucky Saturday night, and the first half numbers are ugly. The Bulldogs and Cats are tied at 0-0 at halftime.

Pouring rain didn’t help quarterback Jake Fromm, and fans were audibly booing the offense during the first half. Fromm finished the first half 8-of-11 for just 28 yards. The Bulldogs offense has only managed to gain 123 total  yards.

Georgia didn’t run a single play in Kentucky territory in the first half. Think about that.

Meanwhile, Kentucky has managed just 45 total yards, including no passing yards behind wide receiver-turned-quarterback Lynn Bowden.

With the frustrating loss last week to South Carolina to a poor offensive performance again this week, Georgia fans are obviously upset. Should Georgia not be able to turn this around in the second half, the noise will just get louder for offensive coordinator James Coley.
