The Georgia Bulldogs are absolutely hammering the Oregon Ducks Saturday.

At halftime, the Dawgs lead the Ducks 28-3. They’re doing it on both sides of the ball, too — offense and defense. Stetson Bennett has looked very sharp, completing 18-of-21 passes for 254 yards and 1 touchdown. He’s also rushed for 8 yards and 1 touchdown. Bennett has been making quick decisions, very accurate and efficient.

Pass catchers Brock Bowers and Ladd McConkey already look in midseason form.

Georgia’s offense finished 5-of-5 on 3rd downs in the first half.

Oregon quarterback Bo Nix — yes, that Bo Nix — isn’t fairing too well against Georgia’s rebuilt and elite defense. Freshman Malaki Starks reeled in an unbelievable interception, too. Through 2 quarters, Nix has thrown 2 INTs.

College football fans are taking note of Georgia’s impressive first-half showing against Oregon. The Bulldogs entered the 2022 season as the No. 3 ranked team behind Alabama and Ohio State; however, UGA looks like it could be the best team in the nation, picking right up where it left off as national champions.

Social media certainly thinks so.
