South Carolina and Will Muschamp now own the nation’s most shocking upset for 2019.

On Saturday, the Gamecocks took down the undefeated Georgia Bulldogs 20-17 in double overtime. It wasn’t so much that Georgia lost to South Carolina, but it was more about how it lost. USC won the line of scrimmage battle and was the more physical team, and the Gamecocks’ defense forced Jake Fromm into his worst college performance yet. Fromm threw an uncharacteristic three interceptions to the same player.

In the big picture, Georgia isn’t out of the College Football Playoff. However, there are some things the Bulldogs must fix quickly. One-loss SEC Champion Georgia would still get into the Playoff knowing the road it has in front of it, but that’s a long road with no margin for error.

Georgia fans would like to forget about Saturday’s loss, but SEC Shorts, an online comedy series exploring the crazy world of college football in the south, won’t let them just yet.
