Crawford was a high school in the Peach State from 2010-to-2020. He made the jump to the college ranks in 2021, joining the Western Kentucky staff as outside receivers coach. Crawford added the co-offensive coordinator with WKU in 2022.
Crawford has big shoes to fill. Dell McGee, who left to become Georgia State’s head coach, was regarded as one of the top recruiters in the country. As a running backs coach, he helped put Nick Chubb, Sony Michel, D’Andre Swift, Elijah Holyfield, James Cook and Zamir White in the NFL.
