Kirby Smart and Georgia are tied at 10 at Auburn in a game where Georgia bounced back from another slow start. The Bulldogs got a key 4th down stop deep in their own territory to preserve the tie late.

At halftime, Smart spoke with CBS Sports and said his team just needs to find improvement.

“I wouldn’t say they rattled us, I think we’ve got great composure,” Smart told Jenny Dell. “It’s a great environment for college football, but I don’t think our team’s rattled, just got to play better.”

Smart also evaluated Carson Beck in the quarterback’s first true road game.

“He’s hit a couple shots that we missed, and then he’s had a couple of them that were overthrows,” Smart said. “Again, we’ve got to settle him down, he was juiced to start the game. I love his composure though, he makes good decisions.”

Georgia bounced back after Auburn led 10-0 after the 1st quarter, as the teams exchanged field goals and touchdowns in each quarter before halftime.
