Since the Georgia Bulldogs are off this weekend, coach Kirby Smart has a chance to see some of his top commits play.

On Thursday night, he pulled out all the stops to see No. 1 2018 player Justin Fields, a dual-threat quarterback, play.

According to ESPN.com, Smart took a helicopter to the game, landing outside the stadium and taking pictures with fans.

As you can see in the video below, Smart was a popular guest at Harrison High School’s game:

Unfortunately, Fields left Thursday’s game in the fourth quarter after injuring a finger on his throwing hand.

Still, Harrison managed to hold on to win even without its star quarterback. Fields’ injury will certainly be one to monitor moving forward, but it was definitely a special moment for him to play in front of his future coach.

Now, Smart will get back to work preparing for Georgia’s next opponent — Florida — next weekend.
