Georgia head coach Kirby Smart probably isn’t too happy with CBS Sports’ Gary Danielson right about now.

During the Iron Bowl broadcast, Danielson revealed that Smart sent in six plays to the SEC from the Auburn game because he thought the Tigers’ defense got away with a lot of holds in the secondary when the two teams played earlier this year. Smart was apparently very unhappy with the officiating in the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry.

Danielson oddly prefaced the revelation by saying he didn’t think the information was “off the record.” Smart might disagree with that.

Auburn hammered No. 1 Georgia 40-17, and the two teams could meet in the SEC Championship again if Auburn beats No. 1 Alabama.

The Tigers’ defense has been very good all season, and the secondary is certainly physical and handsy.

We expect Smart will be asked about this during his next press conference.
