Former Georgia stars Ladd McConkey and Javon Bullard earned some recognition for their performances this week at Senior Bowl practices in Mobile.

McConkey was named the top wide receiver on the American team while Bullard was honored as the best defensive back on the team. The awards were voted on by their teammates who went up against them in practice throughout the week.

The honors were announced by Senior Bowl director Jim Nagy:

McConkey battled injuries in 2023, but still had a solid season for the Bulldogs. He caught 30 passes for 478 yards and 2 touchdowns in 9 games this past season. He had a career-high 762 yards and 7 touchdowns in 2022.

By all accounts, McConkey had a strong week in Mobile and significantly helped his draft stock ahead of April’s NFL Draft. Here’s one of his highlights from the week:

Both McConkey and Bullard have a good chance to be apart of Georgia’s 2024 NFL Draft class. The Bulldogs produced 10 NFL Draft selections in the 2023 draft last season.

The 2024 NFL Draft will be held from April 25-27.
