As a skill player on offense, it has to be an exciting time to be a member of the Kansas City offense. All eyes on are Patrick Mahomes and company as the Chiefs put up video game numbers every Sunday.

Former Georgia wide receiver Mecole Hardman became a part of that club when he was drafted 56th overall by Kansas City in the 2019 NFL Draft, and it has only taken two games for Hardman to open up his professional scoring account with the Chiefs.

In a road game at the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, Mahomes found Hardman on a 42-yard bomb to take a 14-10 lead in the second quarter.

Hardman did not exactly light up the stat sheet at Georgia, but was a productive player, putting together 961 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in three seasons for the Bulldogs.

Now, with an electric playmaker at quarterback in Mahomes and an injured Tyreek Hill, Hardman may find himself in a bigger role with the Chiefs early in his career. He already seems to be showing his home run capabilities.
