UGA fans mourn the loss of superfan Mike 'Big Dawg' Woods, who reportedly passed away
It’s truly a sad day for Georgia fans.
According to WSB-TV Atlanta, Bulldogs’ superfan Mike “Big Dawg” Woods passed away from a cardiac issue Wednesday. The station confirmed the news with the The Madison County coroner’s office.
Woods also underwent triple bypass surgery in 2015 after suffering a heart attack.
The beloved fan was known not just in the SEC, but around college football, due to the bulldog painting on his forehead.
Woods was 65.
