Mike Bobo’s first drive of the SEC Championship Game worked out swimmingly for Georgia’s offense. The Bulldogs went 83 yards on 8 plays for the game’s opening touchdown.

Unfortunately, the playcalling has been stagnant at times since then, including on a late touchdown drive against Alabama’s defense. The drive started well, but things slowed down big time near the goal line.

After getting into a 1st-and-goal situation from the 6-yard line, Georgia ran the ball 3 straight times. The Bulldogs did not score and it allowed almost a minute to tick off the clock before Georgia kicked a field goal.

That time was costly with Alabama getting the ensuing kickoff and running out the remaining 2:17 in the game for a 27-24 win. That lack of urgency from Bobo and the Bulldogs drew a swift reaction on social media.
