Ric Flair is no stranger to motivational speeches.

Now the legendary professional wrestler has taken the opportunity to fire up his new favorite team, the Georgia Bulldogs, ahead of the SEC Championship Game.

Flair has a personal connection with Georgia as his stepdaughter is a member of the track and field and field team, and he was with them on the field at Sanford Stadium earlier this season as they were honored for winning the national championship last season.

“That makes me a Bulldog,” Flair said, beating his chest. “And tomorrow, make no mistake, I don’t care what’s going on in any conference, I don’t care what’s going on in the NFL. The focus of the world is going to be on Atlanta, Georgia at 4:00.”

As Flair lamented the loss to Alabama last year, he noted that the Bulldogs have a more experienced QB Jake Fromm, and have added QB Justin Fields in coach Kirby Smart’s third season.

“Make no mistake, tomorrow is the national championship, it’s yours,” he said. “… I can smell, wooo, the excitement in the air. … You lay your heads down tonight, you can rest on the fact that you’re going to be national champions.

He said Georgia is more prepared for Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa this year, than the Bulldogs were last year at halftime of the national championship.

He even said “anybody can be beat,” and referenced the Dallas Cowboys win over the New Orleans Saints on Thursday.

“You’re the best team in the country, the Georgia Bulldogs. A lot of people say ‘Who is Ric Flair to be talking all this,'” he said. “I’ll tell you who I am. I’m the greatest professional wrestler alive today. … Tomorrow the Tide goes down, and the Bulldogs go wooo.”
