The Kentucky Wildcats are still relentless in the state of Ohio.

UK picked up a commitment from 3-star defensive tackle Tyler Bentley Sunday. Bentley, from Wester Chester, Ohio, committed to the Cats over offers from Alabama, Florida, Tennessee and LSU, among others, and the 6-foot-3 and 295-pound prospect is rated as the nation’s No. 64 defensive tackle the state’s No. 35 overall player, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Bentley received a Kentucky offer last October and visited the campus for Junior Day this past January. He became the Cats’ 10th commitment for the class of 2018 and the fifth from the state of Ohio.

While other SEC powerhouses are centered around the Southeast for recruiting, Kentucky has made it a point to dominate the state of Ohio during Mark Stoops’ tenure.
