Kentucky stuns South Carolina to win SEC Tournament in Nashville
By Adam Spencer
Published:
Kentucky entered the SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament in Nashville this week as the No. 7 seed. South Carolina entered not only as the No. 1 seed in the tournament, but as the No. 1 team in the country.
Down 62-61 with only a few seconds left in the fourth quarter on Sunday afternoon, the Wildcats ran a play that got Dre Edwards an open look from 3-point range.
Well, she made the most of it, absolutely burying the clutch shot to give the Wildcats a 64-62 win and the SEC Tournament title:

The Wildcats will now set their sights on the NCAA Tournament. We’ll see where they end up going, but they’ll enter March Madness knowing they can beat anyone in the country.
