Kentucky wide receiver Dekel Crowdus announced Tuesday afternoon that he will enter the transfer portal after 3 seasons in Lexington.
Crowdus played in a reserve role at Kentucky, totaling 4 receptions for 82 yards in 2023, his only action as a Wildcat. He missed most of his freshman year in 2021 after suffering an injury.
Because he can use that season as a redshirt, Crowdus will have 2 remaining seasons of eligibility that he will likely use at a low-tier P5 program or in the Group of 5.

Crowdus is not the first Wildcat to enter the portal following the end of the 2023 regular season. He joins safety Jalen Geiger and defensive lineman Jamarius Dinkins in entering the portal. Dinkins entered the portal Tuesday alongside Crowdus.
