Liam Coen continues to be a highly-regarded candidate for the Los Angeles Rams as they continue to shuffle their staff following Kevin O’Connell’s departure to be the Minnesota Vikings head coach.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported that the Rams expect Thomas Brown, the former Georgia running back, to return to the staff, and Zac Robinson will also stay in Los Angeles. Coen, the Kentucky offensive coordinator, is regarded as the top candidate for the vacant OC position.

The Coen news has been coming for days as ESPN previously reported that Kentucky last week was preparing for the possibility it would lose Coen.

In his first season as UK’s offensive coordinator, Coen led the Wildcats to having the No. 5-ranked scoring offense in the SEC at 32.3 points per game. Behind the Big Blue Wall, UK was No. 5 in the SEC with 199 rushing yards.

Coen proved that, along with Will Levis and Wan’Dale Robinson, he could build a strong offense in the SEC after he left the Rams about a year ago.
