The Wildcats suffered a tough loss to the Florida Gators this past weekend, but the environment was a great one to play in.

Kentucky was outscored 14-3 in the fourth quarter that was capped off by Florida’s go-ahead touchdown with 43 seconds left in the game. The Wildcats were still able to get in range for a field goal before a holding penalty pushed them just out of range.

The 57-yard field goal attempt by Kentucky’s Austin MacGinnis fell short as time expired. The Gators walked away with an improbable 28-27 victory, and it was the 31st straight win for the Gators over the Wildcats.

Kentucky will lament blowing the lead late, but the Wildcats wanted to thank their faithful fans for the support throughout the game. Here is a look at the thank you that Kentucky Football shared on Twitter:

The Wildcats are now 3-1 on the season. They will face Eastern Michigan this week as they try and get back on track. Kickoff Saturday is set for 4 pm EST on the SEC Network.
