Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats are in Atlanta on Wednesday for their turn at SEC Media Days.

One topic of discussion is a potential suspension looming over star RB Chris Rodriguez Jr., who was arrested for DUI this offseason and recently pleaded guilty to the charge.

However, no final decision on punishment has been made by Stoops. He said on Wednesday that he’s “still monitoring” the situation with the talented running back:

Rodriguez ran for 1,378 yards and 10 touchdowns and added 3 more scores as a receiver in 2021.

He’s expected to be a big part of the Kentucky offense this fall, but we’ll have to keep waiting to see if a suspension is coming to start the 2022 campaign.
