Talented QB prospect Jarren Williams decommits from Kentucky
Kentucky has shown a great eye for quarterback talent, keeping those same players committed is another story. The latest member of that club is 2018 prospect Jarren Williams, who committed to the Wildcats last June. After seeing his recruitment heat up in recent weeks, Williams has decided to reevaluate his options before making a final decision.
Williams released the following statement Monday afternoon announcing his decommitment from Kentucky:

In recent weeks, Williams has received scholarship offers from Alabama, Florida, LSU, Tennessee and Missouri in the SEC. He also holds offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Florida State, Miami and Arizona State among others. The 6-foot-2, 209-pound Williams rates as a three-star prospect, the No. 13 dual-threat quarterback and the No. 37 overall prospect from Georgia in the 2018 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports.
Last season, Kentucky identified Mac Jones as a top quarterback prospect early in the 2017 recruiting cycle. After Jones was elevated to a high four-star prospect later in the process, he decommitted and ultimately signed with Alabama.
