One of the more outspoken players in the SEC dished out an ugly his in the second half of Kentucky’s game against South Carolina.

Kentucky LB Kash Daniel was flagged for targeting with 3:12 left in the third quarter and Kentucky leading 24-10 following a Kentucky interception of Jake Bentley. Daniel launched himself into South Carolina’s Jacob August on a blindside hit near the sideline, connecting his helmet with the earhole of August’s helmet.

Medical staff tended to August on the sideline following the hit.

Kash, an emotional player and fan favorite, waved to the crowd at Kroger Field after he was ejected following a video review.

Because it happened in the second half, Daniel will miss the first half of next week’s game at Texas A&M.
