Zvonimir  has been admitted to Kentucky as a student Lexington Herald Leader’s Ben Roberts reported Wednesday.

Ivisic is one of the top European prospects and committed to Kentucky in August. Since then, he has been looking for a path to eligibility for the 2023-24 season, which tips off in about a month. That path became more clear Wednesday as he was admitted as a student.

A late addition to the Wildcats’ 2023 class, Ivisic was listed on the student director about a month after his commitment and appeared on the student directory, now it is clear that he is a student at the university.

The addition of Ivisic is huge for the Wildcats, who had major questions revolving around who would step up in the front court. Standing at 7-foot-2, Ivisic will be a presence in the paint for Kentucky. He averaged 11.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.4 blocks and shooting 34% from 3 for his home country of Croatia in the FIBA U20 European Championship over the summer.

Ivisic is still waiting for the NCAA to grant him amateur status and eligibility for the season, but getting his admission to Kentucky on Wednesday was another step in the right direction.
