Ed Orgeron reportedly has a new position to fill on his support staff down in Baton Rouge.

That’s according to The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman — who has written a pair of books with Orgeron — as LSU analyst Aaron Schwanz is expected to accept a similar position with Washington.

“Washington is expected to hire LSU defensive analyst Aaron Schwanz as a defensive analyst for UDub. Schwanz, a former LBs coach at Southeastern Louisiana, also has coached at Wisconsin,” Feldman reported on Tuesday.

Schwanz was hired by LSU this time last season after spending two seasons with Oregon. He also has experience as a special teams coordinator and linebackers coach for Southeastern Louisiana.

During his time at Wisconsin, Schwanz worked under former LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda. Schwanz is a Port Washington, Wisc., native and is a graduate of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
