Brian Kelly cleared the air on his future at LSU amid the coaching carousel ensuing throughout college football.

Kelly made it clear that his future is at LSU. The second year head coach said that Baton Rouge is his last stop of his coaching career.

“I want to be at LSU. I love it here. I’m not going anywhere,” Kelly said in his postgame press conference after Saturday’s game. “This is my last stop on the Coach Kelly caravan. You always go, ‘Well, you know he’s just saying that to get the right soundbite.’ But I don’t have to say anything that puts me in a corner, but this is it. This is where I want to be, this is where I want to coach. I love it here. I love the people. I love the state and I love the fact that I’m working with an administration, an athletic director in Scott Woodward and a president in President Tate, that are giving us the support necessary to graduate champions.”

Kelly led LSU to a 9-3 record in his second season with the Tigers. LSU wrapped up its season with a convincing win over Texas A&M. Now, with Kelly coming back next year, the Tigers are looking to take the next step and become a CFP caliber team.
