No. 10 LSU put the nation on notice this weekend with a 32-31 victory vs. No. 6 Alabama at Tiger Stadium. It was a total team effort across the board to take down Alabama for the first time at home since 2010.

LSU coach Brian Kelly named the game ball recipients for the victory and they went to Mason Taylor, Mekhi Wingo, and Jay Bramblett.

Taylor tallied 3 receptions for 36 yards, including a 7-yard touchdown reception with 1:47 to go in regulation. Wingo collected 3 tackles and had 2 pass deflections. Bramblett was vital to field position as he booted 6 punts for 251 yards, with 3 of those inside the 20-yard line.

Alabama came into the game as an almost 2-touchdown favorite and had won all but one meeting in the series dating back to 2012. However, the win propels LSU to No. 1 SEC West and in prime position for a berth in the SEC title game. LSU now has the tiebreakers over Alabama and Ole Miss.

LSU will go for a fourth consecutive victory when it travels on Saturday to take on Arkansas (noon ET/ESPN).
