There may not be a better place to commit for an elite defensive back prospect than LSU. After all, they call LSU DBU for a reason.

LSU’s proud tradition of having elite defensive backs on campus looks to continue well into the future as four-star 2022 safety prospect Bryan Allen Jr. has announced his commitment to the Tigers on Thursday.

The 6-foot, 183-pound Aledo High School product may be far away from enrolling in college but that hasn’t stopped the recruiting world from catching on to the Texas native as Allen ranks as an early four-star prospect, the No. 2 safety in the nation and the No. 52 overall recruit in the 2022 recruiting cycle by 247Sports. Allen does not yet have a 247Sports Composite Ranking.

Allen becomes the fourth elite 2022 prospect to commit to the Tigers as defensive back Khamauri Rogers, receiver Decoldest Crawford and safety Bryce Anderson have all committed to play for Ed Orgeron’s program.
