Things may be bad at the moment in several areas of the country but things could be far worse if the brave healthcare workers around our great nation weren’t willing to risk their health and safety for those most affected by the coronavirus.

The state of Louisiana has been hit harder than many states with residents asked to stay at home if possible by Governor John Bel Edwards until at least April 12.

“If we want to flatten the curve, we have to take more aggressive mitigation measures now and limit social contact now,” Edwards recently said.

Considering the current state of affairs in Louisiana, LSU issued a thank you from every coach on staff in Baton Rouge to the healthcare providers inside the state during this crisis.

“I would like to thank the Louisiana health care workers who are on the frontline, taking care of Louisiana patients,” Ed Orgeron says in the video below.
