Danny Etling, former LSU QB, tosses first TD pass as a Green Bay Packer

Danny Etling has made the rounds in the NFL since being drafted in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of LSU.
The former Tiger quarterback started his career with the New England Patriots, but he has since played for the Atlanta Falcons, Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings, BC Lions (CFL), Denver Broncos, the Seahawks again, Green Bay Packers and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Now, for the 2022 preseason, Etling is back in Green Bay, and he was impressive on Saturday night in San Francisco. He connected with BJ Baylor on this big play:

Later, he tossed this touchdown pass to Amari Rodgers to give the Packers a lead (they’d ultimately lose 28-21):
Danny Etling had one of the better games of his pro career tonight. He played the second half for Packers in loss at Niners. Former Terre Haute South QB threw this TD pass and finished 6-for-8 for 123 yards and a very solid 156.3 quarterback rating. (Courtesy: NFL Network) pic.twitter.com/tFJiSyvT0H

Etling completed 6 of his 8 passes for 123 yards, 1 touchdown and no interceptions. We’ll see if he can earn a roster spot in Green Bay behind Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love.
