Daryl Porter Jr. was a breakout star for the West Virginia secondary in 2021, stepping into a big-time role for the Mountaineers.

But, after the season, he announced his intentions to enter the NCAA transfer portal. Now, he’s down to 4 finalists.

As you can see below, Porter took to Twitter on Monday to announce he was including LSU among the 4 schools he’s considering:

LSU will compete with Miami, Florida State and Oregon for Porter’s services in 2022 and beyond.

Coming out of high school as part of the 2020 recruiting class, Porter was a 3-star player. He was the No. 104 cornerback in the class and the No. 155 overall recruit from the state of Florida, per the 247Sports composite rankings.

In 13 games in 2021, Porter recorded 46 tackles (1 for a loss), 5 pass breakups and an interception (which he returned 43 yards).
