LSU opened fall camp Friday, and there were a couple notable players missing from practice.

Ed Orgeron spoke with the media following Friday’s practice, and he announced that wide receiver Dee Anderson was suspended from team activities due to a “conditioning issue.” Orgeron said he expects Anderson to be fine, but he has to get some conditioning done before he can return to the team.

The rising senior pass catcher is from Dallas, Texas, and he’s recorded 27 catches for 392 yards and one touchdown during his three-year career. 2018 was Anderson’s best season, as he caught 20 passes for 274 yards and his lone score.

The 6-5, 202-pound receiver signed with LSU in the class of 2016. He was rated a 4-star prospect and ranked as the nation’s No. 37 overall receiver and the state of Texas’ No. 26 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
