Ed Orgeron names ideal playing weight for Arden Key, who has gained almost 30 pounds
SEC quarterbacks need to get ready for a bigger, bulkier Arden Key.
The Tigers pass-rusher has been recovering from shoulder surgery, and Orgeron told reporters Sunday that Key won’t be rushed back. When he does see the field, however, Key will be playing at a higher weight than before.
According to Orgeron, Key is currently at “260-plus.” Key himself told one reporter that he’s up to 267 pounds.

Last season, Key was listed at 238 pounds. Orgeron said the goal this year will be to have the linebacker play at approximately 255 pounds, which indicates Key has some pounds to shed in the coming weeks.
