When we last saw LSU RB Derrius Guice on the field, he was torching the Ole Miss defense for more than 250 yards.
Now, the star running back has had a bye week to rest, which is good news for the Tigers ahead of a showdown with No. 2 Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
According to coach Ed Orgeron’s radio show on Wednesday night, Guice is ready to go for Saturday night’s game and is healthier than he’s been all year:
O on Guice: "He's at his best health of the whole season. Think he's going to play great." #LSU

Even a healthy Guice will have trouble finding running room against the Alabama defense, but he’ll be a big part of LSU’s plans regardless.
If Guice can go over 100 yards in Saturday night’s game, the Tigers will have a chance to play spoiler on Alabama’s perfect season.
Check out Guice in action on Saturday night at 8 p.m. Eastern time. The game can be seen on CBS.
