Florida WR Ricky Pearsall would vote for Jayden Daniels to win the Heisman if given the opportunity.

Pearsall and Daniels played together at Arizona State before transferring. The two played against each other Saturday as LSU beat Florida 52-35. Daniels had 372 yards passing, 234 yards rushing, and 5 total touchdowns.

Daniels and Pearsall hugged each other and talked for a little bit after the game. You would’ve never thought that they were on different teams.

The 2019 Arizona State team had the chance to be special. Despite winning 8 games, the Sun Devils beat No. 18 Michigan State, No. 15 Cal, and No. 6 Oregon.

Daniels is competing for the Heisman with players like Bo Nix, Michael Penix Jr., and Marvin Harrison Jr.

It’s great to see former teammates like Pearsall and Daniels remain friends off the field. Even though they don’t play for the same team anymore, the bond is still there.

Florida travels to No. 9 Missouri, while LSU faces Georgia State in Week 12.
