Former LSU LB Kwon Alexander was a fourth-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, going to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He played for the Bucs until 2019, when he moved to the San Francisco 49ers. Then, last November, he was traded to the New Orleans Saints in exchange for a fifth-round pick.

On Tuesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Alexander would be sticking around with the Saints on a 1-year deal worth up to $3 million:

As Schefter mentioned, it is Alexander’s birthday today, so this news is even more special. Alexander seems to be enjoying his new contract:

In 2020, Alexander played for both the San Francisco 49ers and the Saints, recording 57 tackles (3 for a loss) and 1 sack.
