Former LSU tight end Foster Moreau signs his first NFL contract

Foster Moreau put pen to paper on Thursday and signed his first NFL contract.

This comes after the Oakland Raiders drafted Moreau in the fourth round, No. 137 overall, in the 2019 NFL Draft. The New Orleans native appeared in 49 games between 2015 and 2018 for the Tigers, after famously taking the final available scholarship LSU had to offer in the 2015 recruiting class.

During his college career, Moreau caught 52 passes for 629 yards and six touchdowns. He ranks seventh all-time at LSU in receptions from the tight end position. Moreau finished his career as a team captain and was given the honor of wearing No. 18 his final season on campus.
