Alabama is currently the No. 2 team in the country, but there are a few SEC teams hot on the Crimson Tide’s tail.

In the latest AP Poll, Georgia is No. 3, LSU is No. 4, Auburn is No. 7 and Florida is No. 9. Can any of those teams knock the crown off Alabama’s head?

On Wednesday’s episode of “Lock It In” on FOX Sports 1, analyst Joel Klatt said he thinks the LSU Tigers and their revamped offense have a chance to beat Alabama and win the SEC:

“I love LSU, I think LSU has a chance in the SEC because they can score. Alabama seems to have trouble when they get into shootouts,” Klatt said.

LSU is leading the country in points per game, averaging 57.8 points per contest. Alabama is No. 6, averaging an even 50 points per game.

We’ll get our first taste of how LSU stacks up against Alabama when the Tigers visit Tuscaloosa on Saturday, Nov. 9.
