No. 15-ranked LSU was one of college football’s most hyped teams ahead of the 2023 season, and while the Tigers fell in some matchups unexpectedly early on, they have since gotten back on a hot streak.

LSU running backs coach and associate HC Frank Wilson recently sent out a clear message to his team for when the step out on the field.

“We understand the assignment and our responsibilities,” Wilson said. “Your style of play, your maturity. Whomever the opponent is, they nameless, they’re faceless. Anybody can get it. It don’t matter. How old, how young. How big, how small. When you step between the stripes of that field, you can get it.”

And it is clear that with LSU facing its biggest rival in the Alabama Crimson Tide up next on the schedule that they’ve got to be the ones to get it in what has been one of the weakest showcases seen of Nick Saban’s football team over recent years.

LSU got the win the last time the two teams faced each other, 32-31 in Baton Rouge last season.

Anticipate this to be one of the most-watched games across college football on Saturday when the two teams kick off at 6:45 p.m. CT on Saturday, Nov. 4 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
