Report: Former LSU star Jamal Adams leaving the Jets as part of blockbuster trade
The Legion of Boom is long gone from the Seattle Seahawks’ secondary. Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas are no longer on the team.
However, on Saturday, the Seahawks took a huge step toward what could be a new Legion of Boom, adding former LSU star Jamal Adams in a trade with the Jets.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets get current Seattle S Bradley McDougald, first-round picks in 2021 and 2022 and a third-round pick in 2021 in exchange for Adams and a Round 4 pick in 2022:

Adams has made his displeasure with the Jets known in the past few months, asking for a trade. Now, he’s on the move to a team expected to challenge for a playoff spot in the NFC.
In 3 NFL seasons, Adams has appeared in and started 46 games. He has 273 tackles, 12 sacks, 2 interceptions, 6 forced fumbles and 2 touchdowns on his impressive resume.
Will the Seahawks sign him to a new contract like he wants? We’ll see what happens moving forward in Seattle.
