Jordan Toles will be transferring to Morgan State University.

The former four-star prospect out of St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland, committed to LSU as part of its 2020 recrutiing class. Toles, listed at 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, was a top 100 player nationally and the fifth-ranked safety in his class.

He chose LSU over offers from Penn State, Michigan, Pitt and West Virginia among others. Toles was also thought to be a Division I caliber basketball player and was considering playing both in college.

Last season Toles appeared in six games for the Tigers and recorded 12 tackles. He entered the transfer portal earlier this month.

The move to Morgan State will put Toles back in his home city. He was part of a St. Frances team that was considered among the best in the nation.
