Kayshon Boutte will not be with the Tigers this week when they face New Mexico at Tiger Stadium. LSU’s star receiver is expecting the birth of his first child according to the program’s official Twitter account.

According to ESPN, Boutte and his girlfriend are having a baby boy.

It’s been a slow start to the season for Boutte. LSU has been working to find consistency in the passing game under new quarterback Jayden Daniels. Boutte was barely a factor in the Tigers’ opening week loss to Florida State and has just 10 catches for 93 yards through three games.

LSU will play New Mexico at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
