LSU fans have come together to raise money for the family of a Georgia couple that died while driving home from last Saturday’s game against Georgia Southern.

Danny and Julie Hagan visited Baton Rouge to watch Georgia Southern play LSU at Tiger Stadium. On their drive back to Georgia, their car started to hydroplane and the driver lost control. According to WJCL, Danny Hagan was pronounced dead at the scene and Julie Hagan died at Augusta University Medical Center.

The Hagans, who were both Georgia Southern alums, were survived by their three children, and a GoFundMe account has been set up for the family. As of 4:30 p.m. ET on Friday, more than $34,500 had been raised. The goal is set at $37,500, and there have been more than 800 donations so far.

The GoFundMe account states that a friend of the family will assist with the delivery of the funds.

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire GSU community,” the GoFundMe page reads.
