LSU lands first commitment for 2022 class from 4-star Texas safety
LSU is on the board for the class of 2022.
West Brook (Texas) S Bryce Anderson announced his pledge to the Tigers in a tweet (below) on Sunday. The 5-11, 180-pound Beaumont, Texas native does not have a Composite ranking yet, but 247Sports has already rated him as the No. 7 safety, No. 10 Texas product and No. 98 prospect overall nationally in the class. While it’s extremely early in the 2022 recruiting cycle, Anderson already has 11 scholarship offers, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Texas A&M.

Obviously, we’re a long way out from the 2022 signing period, but it’s always good to start a recruiting class with a blue-chip commitment.
