For the second time in three games, LSU will be bringing some color to the field. The official football equipment Twitter account gave fans a glimpse into the locker room Saturday afternoon, showing the team’s rarely used purple jerseys hanging in the players’ lockers prior to their 7:30 p.m. ET game against New Mexico State.

LSU last wore the purple jerseys two weeks ago in a 31-0 win over Louisiana-Monroe. Last season, the Tigers broke out the purple against Furman in a 48-16 win, as well as in a 45-13 win over Kent State.
