LSU QB Danny Etling was banged up in a loss to Alabama two weeks ago, but he managed to start against Arkansas over the weekend in the Tigers’ 33-10 victory.

However, it was clear the senior wasn’t at 100 percent, as a couple of early throws looked painful and he missed a couple of deep throws once again.

He’s planning to play once again this weekend at Tennessee, but when asked about his injuries on Monday, wasn’t too eager to give away details of what’s bothering him:

That’s probably a smart move, as Etling will again be looking to minimize how often he gets hit during this weekend’s game. He’s an important part of the LSU offense and the Tigers need him out there to keep the offense going strong.

Freshman QB Myles Brennan will be ready to go if Etling can’t finish Saturday’s game, but the Tigers hope it doesn’t come to that.
