The LSU Tigers went into Austin on Saturday night and beat then-No. 9 Texas 45-38 in an impressive offensive outburst.

LSU has long been known for its defense, but QB Joe Burrow and his receivers carried the squad against the Longhorns.

On Monday, ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit (who called the LSU-Texas game) had the Tigers atop his list of impressive team performances for Week 2:

OC Steve Ensminger and passing game coordinator Joe Brady also received some love from Herbie, being named to the No. 2 spot on coaching performances this year.

Will LSU continue to dominate moving forward? We’ll find out in the coming weeks. They have a tune-up game against Northwestern State on Saturday.
