The 2021 season didn’t get off to the best start for LSU when it went on the road and lost to UCLA, 38-27, in Week 1. However, the Tigers now have a chance to go on a winning streak.

After notching a 34-7 win in its home opener against McNeese last Saturday, LSU will try to get a second victory in a row when it hosts Central Michigan this Saturday night. It’s the first time that the Tigers have faced the Chippewas in program history.

On Thursday, LSU revealed that it will be wearing its alternate purple jerseys for the matchup:

If LSU can win again this week, it will have more momentum heading into its SEC opener, which will take place at Misssissippi State on Sept. 25.

LSU and Central Michigan will kick off on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
