One of the breakout freshman stars in the SEC this past season was LSU big man Trendon Watford, who showed flashes of brilliance for the Tigers.

So, was one year in Baton Rouge enough for the Alabama native and former 5-star recruit? Watford made his decision about the 2020 NBA Draft on Sunday.

As you can see below, Watford announced he was entering his name in the 2020 NBA Draft pool:

Per LSU’s athletic department, Watford won’t hire an agent yet, so his college eligibility remains intact at the moment. Will he stay or will he stay in the draft class?

Watford appeared in 31 games for the Tigers this past season, starting 30 of them. He averaged 13.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest.
