Tough news for LSU fans as one of the program’s top prospects for the 2018 recruiting cycle has just decommitted from Ed Orgeron’s program.

Nadab Joseph was the third-highest ranked commitment of LSU’s 2018 class, but soon after making a trip to Alabama to attend a camp, he has backed off his pledge. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Joseph ranks as a four-star prospect, the No. 24 cornerback in the nation and the No. 44 overall prospect from the state of Florida for the 2018 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Citing a need to ensure he was making the correct decision, Joseph announced his decommitment Thursday afternoon via Twitter.

Following this news, LSU is down to 19 total commitments with only one true cornerback in the class – Kelvin Joseph.
