Ed Orgeron announces that 2 LSU players are suspended for Fiesta Bowl against UCF
LSU’s roster keeps on taking hits ahead of the Fiesta Bowl against UCF.
The Tigers travelled to Phoenix Thursday evening, and upon arrival, Ed Orgeron announced that three more players would miss the bowl game, including two who have been suspended, per The Advocate’s Brooks Kubena.
Already down starting CBs Greedy Williams (sitting out the bowl game) and Kristian Fulton (injury), Coach O announced that CB Kelvin Joseph has been suspended, too. In addition to Joseph, OL Dare Rosenthal is also suspended. Both players violated team rules. A third player, LB Travez Moore, will also miss the game due to “personal issues.”
Obviously, the biggest news here is Joseph’s absence after both starting CBs are already out.
Joseph played in 11 games this season, and in Joseph’s absence, Kary Vincent and Terrance Alexander will start at CB. Vincent’s father sadly passed away Wednesday.
UCF’s offense has to feel good entering Tuesday’s game against LSU.
