Staying home: LSU lands commitment from 4-star Baton Rouge OL

LSU has landed Emery Jones. The blue-chip offensive lineman out of Baton Rouge Catholic announced his pledge to play for the hometown Tigers on Friday.

Listed at 6-4, 341 pounds, Jones is rated 4-stars, the No. 9 interior offensive lineman in the country, the No. 13 Louisiana product and the No. 190 overall prospect nationally in the class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite.

Jones picked up 14 scholarship offers during his recruitment, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss and Texas A&M. In June, he visited Arkansas, Tennessee and Florida State.
